Fisherman’s Wharf. A must visit place if you want to get a great view of the sunset. You will need to hop on a boat for about 120NTD (Round trip). The total length of the ride was about 10 minutes. Upon entry of the wharf, you immediately see the lovers bridge:

Just because it’s the famous lovers bridge, doesn’t mean a single guy like me can’t go and visit right?!!? Here’s a couple of more pictures:

Another picture of the wharf.

Being an Iphone user i am 5 years late in using panorama. Therefore I am going crazy using it every opportunity that i get.
Simply stunning this place.
Tam Shui

Tam Shui, I remember coming here 5 years ago and recalled it to be quite beautiful (near the harbor). So i decided to pay a visit again this time around. But before I headed on the ferry to get to the Fisherman’s Whaft, I first paid a visit to the old street, which is basically a street full of street vendors and shops.

I also walked along the habor in Tam Shui. It was a beautiful day!
Ding Tai Fung
Here’s a fun fact: I’ve been told the Ding Tai Fung in Toronto is fake. So don’t go to that one!
Had to wait 30 minutes even though it was already 8, so it just proves this place is really famous. Even though I was starving, but it was well worth the wait.

We order a set of dumplings, which was very juicey and flavorful.

Waiter also recommended the pork chop rice, so had to try it as well!

This was desert!!! It’s like dumplings but with sesame inside! Must order!

Thanks for taking me old boss!!
Ding Wong Hot Pot

Our client recommended this hot pot place to us. Apparently you have to reserve months in advance. Luckily they know the purchasing manager so they helped us reserve a table that very night. As such we went and visited.
We got the VIP card as well.

More panorama pictures of the resto.

I am usually not a big fan of the “ma lat” spice, because it literally numbs your tongue, but we asked for less spicey and it was just right. The beef was delicious.
Toilet restaurant

Literally just came back from here. Interesting experience……

For those that can’t read chinese, the menu items were all poo themed, like the “Diarrhea Ice Cream”

The toilet seat where we sat!

coworker drinking from a urinal.

me holding a urinal.

Ice cream that looks like poo.

and then we realized i have to put this through my expense report when i get back to HK…uh……

after lunch I decided to drop by the red house theatre. Has all sorts of neat local Taiwan made products. Come if you like to shop!

not sure if this is a repost or not… you did go to taiwan on the weekend.
Actually i was in taiwan for the weekend haha.
But i am posting my travels from my old blog to share.
