THE RESULTS OF VENTURING OUT IN HONG KONG

Dabyida Restaurant and Bar! One of my objectives is to venture out and explore more restaurants in Hong Kong.  Since I was craving for some italian (pasta to be specific) I opened up the open rice app and searched for some good Italian restaurants in the Tsim Sha Tsui area.  One restaurant that popped up was the Dabyida Restaurant and bar.  The reviews were pretty good so I decided to give it a try.  I wasn’t able to find the website but I did find their official facebook page:

The address for the restaurant is (in both english and chinese):

Shop G5-6 G/F, 8 Minden Avenue,Tsim Sha Tsui
尖沙咀棉登徑5-6號鋪地下

As you can see from the picture I ordered the fettuccine.  Not bad!  Although the portion wasn’t as big as I thought it be, which I guess is good because I am trying to control my weight (drinking and over eating is not a good combination).  It was also quite pricey (about 150 HKD per dish), and given that fact I wasn’t blown away means I was not that impressed with the place.  But then I had one of the best pastas ever in Adelaide, so the standards for pasta has been raised.

Still, if you are around the area and what to try out a new italian place give this restaurant a try!
