I have been craving chicken wings lately. I have also been craving curry. So, what the heck why not try my hands on making Curry Chicken Wings!
Yeah, now that I think about it, this is a weird combo. You normally mix wings with bbq sauce, hot sauce etc. You never really think curry sauce will go with it, but that’s the beauty of cooking for yourself.
You can try all these awesome yet weird combinations =p
So off I went to the supermarket, got myself some curry sauce and chicken wings. I marinated the chicken wings with the curry sauce, and left it in the fridge over night. This was a good call on my part (hah pat my self on the back) as the wings were really flavorful. I think if I just left it for 2 hours (as recommended by the packet) it probably would not have tasted as good.
Anyways, cooking the chicken was kind of hard. It did get burnt a bit but it was because I didn’t want to eat raw chicken. I think that would’ve been a bad move.
I think the trick is if my chop sticks can go through the meat easily, then it’s almost done. Just leave on the pan for another 5 – 10 minutes on low heat. Just let it sit while it heats up.
Conclusion? Loved it! Going to make more wings in the future!
