Anyways, if you haven’t noticed, i made a few changes for my blog!! I just happen to have sometime in HK this past week, so I decided to make the following changes:
Got my own domain. http://www.munkytravels.com. This is a big deal since I’ve never owned my own domain before, it’s almost like owning a piece of the internet. For those that are working with wordpress, it’s really easy to register your own domain (for a small fee of course). You simply just go to the store tab in your dashboard, and see which what is available. I’ve been blogging for two years now (I started in Tumblr), and I still enjoy it so hopefully I can keep going.
In my attempt to personalize my blog, I’ve added an “Upcoming Trip” section. Since I lag behind in my posts, my parents actually don’t know where I am half the time. Hopefully with this schedule up, they can see where I would be! It also helps keep me on track since I sometimes forget too =p
I’ve also added a new banner, which summarizes some great memories over the past few years. Hopefully there will be many more to come.
Some more minor updates are that I have linked my Blog to Twitter and Instagram. I don’t use the latter two much, but hopefully this linkage to my blog will increase some activity in those two social media realms
