Why I ate in Shawarma in Amsterdam is beyond me. I am making this statement because Shawarma is a Middle Eastern Dish, while I was in the middle of Europe. Actually I don’t think Netherlands is in the middle of Netherlands, but that’s just a technicality. Doesn’t matter in this post.

Shawarma is a garlicky dish filled with meat. Just talking about made me hungry. My buddies had this for lunch on the first day that we landed, but I didn’t try it because I was too damn full from a shitty breakfast that I had that at our hotel. Don’t even ask. But when I saw them eating I made a mental note to myself that I must try it out..
Because it looked soooooooooooooooooo good.

And my time came, when I had a whole day to myself. The restaurant is called Mucho Bello err doesn’t that sound mexican actually?
I don’t know.
But at least I remember how to get there otherwise it would’ve been a fail. I ordered the Gyro Shawarma..ohhh so good…the best part of this was that you can put as much spicy and garlic sauce as your heart / mouth desires. Needless to say my dish ended up very soupy because I just unloaded that shit in.

Don’t know what was more disgusting, me finishing this dish in 5 minutes or the fact that I had sauce everywhere. Wasn’t a pretty sight. But it was all worth it. I really miss Shawarma. Are there any good restaurants in HK that serves this fabulous dish?
TELL ME IF THERE IS.
TELL ME.
