COLD NOODLES ON A HOT SUMMER DAY

One of the perks of having a local take you around is the fact that he knows what you should be eating.  On a hot day in Jeju, our local friend took us to this restaurant that was selling Cold Noodles.  I am usually not a fan of eating cold stuff (aside from ice cream of course haha), but since this was highly recommended by both our friend and the restaurant I took the dive into the cold end (not sure if that makes sense).

The cold noodle was exactly that.  Cold.  It also had beef and an egg.  What made it for me was the soup base.  Being spicy and cold was something I have not tasted before.  I liked it.  Recommend any going to Korea to order the cold noodles at least once.

We also ordered mandoo (dumplings) because we thought the noodles were not enough, but trust me that noodle was hugeeeee.

Don’t have any particular restaurants to recommend in regards to cold noodles, mainly because I don’t remember the restaurant (and I probably won’t go back to Jeju) but it’s such a popular dish that you should be able to find it easily on the net.
