I really should learn Korean.
I go to all these kick ass restaurants in Korea but I can’t find them on the internet to get the address because they don’t have a damn english name!
So after 30 minutes of searching up this restaurant, I gave up. Then I asked the life boss. And she gave me the address.
I googled the address, and the restaurant is called “닭으로가는마을”. Yep.
Doesn’t help much I know if you are a non Korean like me. If it helps the address is 662-6, Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu. If you are taking the metro, get off at Apgujeong Rodeo station exit 5. That’s all I got for you. If you want to know how to walk there then google the address you lazy ass.
Alright! Shall we get down to this post?
So yes. First of all. SUPER FAWESOME DAK GALBI AKA GRILLED CHICKEN WITH OTHER TYPES OF CARBS AND SHIT BUT SO DELICIOUS.
So delicious.
Another favorite of mine in Korea.
I’ve only been to the Yoogane one in Seoul (which was also bomb) so it’s good that I have a couple of options now. Although this one is located in Gangnam so its quite far.
So it comes in raw form. But don’t worry, we are not going to be eating raw chicken.
That wouldn’t be nice.
The server will start up the fire, and you will slowly see the transition of this ugly beast into this wonderful delightful beautiful dish called Dak Galbi.
See..it’s already simmering with deliciousness and juiciness.
Then BAM! It’s ready to go! Hells yeah!
This was so good. We finished this in record time. So fast that I wanted another two portion but the waiter said no, we cannot make anymore.
The hell? Just start up a new grill?
Fine.
Don’t take our business you foo.
We will just order carbs. Aka rice.
Wondering why the rice is so close up? Because 3/4 of it was eaten before I realize I didn’t take a picture.
Failure to the max.
But yeah, I loved this even though I didn’t want to eat anymore carbs. But it was so good. The sauce. The marination. The everything.
You are my everything – reference 98 degrees.
And for my own reference, must come back because this was damn delicious (but if lazy then yoogane is okay too).
