Whilst in Sydney, I managed to try a new café for brunch – Paramount Coffee Project. I was extremely excited as I have been deprived of good coffee and good quality brunch fare in Hong Kong.
First order of business – coffee! I decided to branch out and try the ginger turmeric & honey latte. It was a yummy drink, creamy and not sweet but being the caffeine addict that I am, I ended up getting a flat white afterwards. I miss the coffees in Sydney!
Everything on the menu looked enticing but we settled on three.
The Bibi (like the Korean bibimbap) was fresh and light. I would probably order this with the salmon next time.
The Baked Eggs were decent. I think I would have liked them better if they came in a tomato-based sauce.
As for the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Waffle, I loved the chicken but not sure about the waffle. It was quite hard and the maple bacon gravy was way to sweet.
The absolute highlight was the Crispy Chats with Chipotle Aioli that came with the waffles – I would seriously come back for these.
Ambience scores 10 out of 10. I’d give the food a 7 out of 10, the coffee and drinks were pretty good but the food could have been tastier.
Love your post!! Sydney has some great cafes – they should allow three seperate meals for brunch only haha
It looks lovely there. The food is well presented!
Food looks delicious!
