This is going to be a short post, but have you ever wondered what happens when you have to renew your passport but your visas are in your old passport?
Well this recently happen to me when I renewed my passport, but still had my China and India visa in my old passport.
Well, I talked to the travel agency, and apparently you can just travel with both your new and old passport (with your Visa’s in tact). Just make sure your visas have not been cut or damaged.
For those that don’t believe me, I tried this in person with my recent trip to Shanghai, and it worked perfectly. No extra questions, no complications, went through customs without a problem.
I am holding a Canadian Passport, so it may different with each nationality. But from what I read online, this applies to most!
