Nobu is a Japanese restaurant located at the Intercontinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. Since it’s located at the Intercontinental, you already know this meal will be a little pricey! On Sundays they do have a set lunch menu, where you can choose from 8 appetizers (each person can choose 4), one main, one carb dish, and one desert.
For the main dishes we ordered the teriyaki chicken and fish. Don’t know why, was craving chicken. Probably could have went a bit more fancy since this is a fancy place. Chicken was good, but small. But it’s expected in my opinion. The fish was amazing though.
For my carb dish, I ordered the sushi set because I knew I will need carbs in order to be full for this meal. All fancy meals come in small portions right? The sushi was okay, nothing too special.
For the desert, we ordered the lava cake because we want chocolateIt was okay too……
Overall, not really that impressed with the meal. For the price, I think it could have been better. Or maybe because we ordered from the set lunch menu? Maybe if it was from the a la carte selections it may have been better.
Oh well. It’s got a great view of HK at least!
