Hunter Valley

WINE COUNTRY: BLUEBERRY HILLS VINEYARD

It was my first time to Hunter Valley, so without a doubt I was super, duper EXCITED!!

For those that want to go, it’s only a 2 hour drive from Sydney and that was me driving a like a slow ass. Safety first yo!

Hunter Valley, if you didn’t know is wine country. A place with a lot of wines (no shit).

A lot of Vineyards (no shit).

A lot of wine. (repeated).

You can go to each Vineyard and taste their wine, and purchase a bottle if you like.  I was the driver at the time so I only drank a little bit (hah!).  I will now proceed to talk about one of my favorite Vineyards, the Blueberry Hills.

Why is it one of my favorite Vineyards?  Because I purchased 2 bottles of wine from there. I think I bought the Shiraz.  I really liked it when I tasted it, hence why I bought it.  Duh. Here’s an excerpt from their website:

Situated in the famous wine district of Pokolbin, Hunter Valley, Blueberry Hill Vineyard is a long established vineyard which was once part of the old McPherson Estate. Grapes from the well established vines produce wonderful characteristics in the wine.

Six grape varieties are grown on Blueberry Hill – Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon – some featuring in wines winning international awards.

Interesting, six grape varieties.  I really have no idea what the fuck this is talking about.  I am not sophisticated enough.  The wine was good and I purchased it, that’s really it.

Nothing else to add.

Wait what the fuck they do bed and breakfast?
