Burj Khalifa. ……….
A must see in Dubai.
A must go to in Dubai.
An iconic building in Dubai.
Yeahhhhh I don’t know about the first two. DEFINITELY ICONIC.
And don’t get me wrong, I am not saying you should not go. YOU SHOULD GO. Just not inside…you have a better appreciation of this structure from the outside.
Only from the outside. Not the inside. The outside. Going in is going to blow up your fucking wallet.
But we went in anyways.
World’s tallest building. A living wonder. Stunning work of art. Incomparable feat of engineering. Burj Khalifa is all that. In concept and execution, Burj Khalifa has no peer.
More than just the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa is an unprecedented example of international cooperation, symbolic beacon of progress, and an emblem of the new, dynamic and prosperous Middle East.
It is also tangible proof of Dubai’s growing role in a changing world. In fewer than 30 years, this city has transformed itself from a regional centre to a global one. This success was not based on oil reserves, but on reserves of human talent, ingenuity and initiative. Burj Khalifa embodies that vision.
Tallest building for sure. Verified this against Wikipedia. Total of 160 stories.
The reason why you would want to come here is because you want to have a great view of Dubai, which means going to the tallest structure in the world.
So I guess you should go in. You CAN go to the observatory if you want, the prices are below and you can also click here (damn I am so helpful in this post). OR. You can be fancy like us and go to this lounge called Burj Khalifa Atmosphere.
Either way your wallet going to get a hurrrrting.
Ordered some snacks because we were starvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvving….
But really came here for drinks and to chill out, and to admire the beauty that is Dubai.
Really love this city if you haven’t noticed.
Atmosphere is located on the 122 floor of the Burj Khalifa, which is damnnnnnnnn high. Ears were popping for everyone! There’s also an “Atmosphere” restaurant but we didn’t go there…definitely cannot afford that one…
Drank till 11PM and we were still not done.
Proceeded to go to this bar at the bottom of the Burj Khalifa. GREAT VIEW OF THE FOUNTAIN THOUGH.
BUT yeah…SO TIRED BY THEN..
Great times with great people…
Because Dubai is still relatively flat I don’t think you need to go up to get a good view. Hell a lot of other places would give you a nice view already at a fraction of the price.
But’s a marvel to look at. From the outside (no shit).
Fun Note -> Burj Khalifa used to be called Burj Dubai. Hah. Jeopardy Question.
