First time driving a car onto a boat.
Had to wait 2 hours but meh its a popular island plus the experience of driving on the boat was worth it.
Once we got to the Gibson Island (30 minute boat ride) we immediately went to a local farm distillery to try their beer flights because why the fuck not.
OMG.
The pale ale and golden ale was SO GOOD.
Afterwards, we went straight to lunch. You may be asking “What should you eat in Vancouver?”. Such an easy answer. OYSTERS MAN. O-Y-S-T-E-R-S. We first ordered 18 oysters for both of us. We demolished that shit. And we still wanted more. So we had order a clam chowder. SO GOOD.
BUT we were still hungry. So what did we do? Order another 24 pieces of OYSTERS. hahaha. yes that is right. Our body was dying afterwards but fuck it, you only live once. For those that want good food at Gibson’s island, I definitely recommend Smitty.
AFter this delicious meal we drove around the island some more. Great day in Gibson Island!
