This is a story of Choi rushing Life Boss to dinner.
Choi: Life Boss, where are you?
Life Boss: Stop Rushing me! I am coming!
Choi: Do you know where the restaurant is?
Life Boss: Yes, Causeway Bay food market right?
Choi: Do you know what the restaurant is called?
Life Boss: Yes, Wai Kee
Choi: Okay, can you come faster? The owner looks like she is about to kill me

Blahs! This stupid stupid restaurant got my ass kicked by life boss!
Not cool stupid restaurant. Don’t advertise online saying your restaurant closes at 6PM, but decide to start shutting down at 530PM.
What’s worse, is your damn scary old waitress kept giving me the evil stare. Probably thinking:
I want to go home asshole.
Still, I should not have rushed Life Boss.
I should have been more patient.
I mean, I could have just ordered take out and sat there quietly while waiting.
Instead, I had to be impatient and rush life boss.
Life boss was not impressed when she got here.
BUT, the reason why I rushed life boss was because…
I wanted her to try this delicious Halal lamb curry / roast goose.
I had it with le father a couples week back, and thought this was the shit!
So had to make sure life boss tried it too:
- One of the best roast goose in Hong Kong. Recommend this to everyone. Even life boss says it was good!
- The lamb curry. I loved this. But Life boss begged to differ. “I can make better”. I think she was just not happy in general. Again guys, do not rush your partner to dinner. Or anything for that matter. Side note – saw this guy mix curry with the roast goose (above). Fuck that looked good. I need to come back and try that.
This was all we were having, until life boss decided to order more meat.
Think she was either hungry, or angry. Or both.
- Soy chicken that was damn delicious. This place knows how to cook some good meat.
Again my bad life boss.

This place seriously has some good food. But their opening hours are stupid so just come for lunch, don’t come for dinner.
Unless you are planning to rush your partner and get your ass kicked.
