Quantity over quality? Or quality over quantity?
My forever struggles. Yes I would like to be full, but I want good food too! So needless to say I was a bit torn on La Tagliata ,a restaurant that Life Boss’ friend recommended.
First of all, this place is far as hell. We had to take a shuttle bus (complimentary) which took about 15 minutes to get there.
Damn you are far.
And damn you really high up.
We sat down, and this very warm gentlemen greeted us. Warm greetings are very rare in Italy. He told us that we eat whatever they cook, there is no a la carte. Their house wine and water is also included (all you can drink!).
Nice! We are off to a good start.
I am not going to pretend I remember the names of any of the dishes, but i do remember the starters to be quite nice. Though a bit cold. The pasta itself (HUGE by the way) was pretty good, but not al dente like the other restaurants we have been so far. The failure was the meat. Man, tough and rough and not a lot of flavors. It was huge ass portions though, and I am sure they covered more or less all the animals: Chicken, Pork, Beef, even Rabbit. Yep. But still, even though I like my quantity this was quite hard to eat. So yeah, overall, an average experience. If you are super hungry and don’t give a shit about quality that come here!
