Wow I haven’t had Jamaican food for like the longest time.
Haven’t had jerk chicken in like forever. So when we found out there was a Jamaican restaurant called Miss Lilys in our hotel we were super ecstatic and quickly made reservations.
Our reservations were then rejected. fuckkkkkk.
It was a Saturday night and they said they were full so WOWser this shit must be super good. Undeterred…we reserved for another night..and arrived…to eat some deliciousness..
I ordered the Jerk Chicken because it’s absolutely one of my favorite dishes in the whole world. Fucking can’t go wrong with that.
And they did not get it wrong!
SUPER FUCKING GOOD.
REALLY GOOD.

Colleague got the oxtail because why not? I haven’t had oxtail in a long time too..but I can’t eat two main dishes on my own…or could I? Maybe challenge next time?
I mean sharing is definitely not an option for me…either go big or go home.
Ohh…I forgot we had this for appetizers. Fish tacos. Fried tacos on the outside and fish on the inside. Super interesting combination and is worth a try if you are hungry enough.
Colleague got an ice cream at the end. I don’t know how she did it. I was super full from the meal (we finished our rice as well). The ice cream was also huge, and it looked good. I really should have tried to stuff my face with the ice cream…regrets..
When we left the restaurant we passed by the bar and it was HAPPENING. Dammmmmmm…no wonder this place was packeeeed…it’s where the party is at! Too bad we didn’t get to experience it.
