HARLAN GOLDSTEIN COMFORT NOT SO COMFORTING

My friend sent me a top 10 burger list.  AND I LOVE BURGERS!!!

But unfortunately I was in China at that time so I wasn’t able to look into it right away.  So when I was finally able to open the list, I knew I had to try all of it.

So here we are, first up:  burger at Harlan Goldstein Comfort!

It’s really easy to find this restaurant, it’s located at the Grand Progress building 5th floor, in Lan Kwai Fong.  So after a meal, you can go straight to the drinks!  You can find more information at their website which is http://www.hongkongin360.com/virtualtours/comfort/

Back to the burger.  It was huge!!! I had trouble fitting the burger into my mouth in one bite.  I sometimes feel burgers should be big in width, and not height.

Regardless,  this is one of the juiciest patties that I have ever had.  The juice was flowing nonstop, the mushrooms, bacon and cheese all blended well with the burger.  For the price you pay for it (HKD188) it was definitely worth it.

While we were waiting for my other friend whom was visiting from Toronto (I sent him the wrong link apparently so he went to another burger joint), we decided to order goat cheese as appetizers:

I love cheese, so obviously I am going to say this is delicious.  The goat cheese was solid, and it didn’t fall apart when you picked it up.  But once it goes into your mouth, it slowly melts away.  Yumm………..

You definitely should make reservations if you are coming to this restaurant.  I made reservations at 7PM, but had to return the table by 830PM.  Albeit, this is a Saturday night in Lan Kwai Fong.  But just to be safe you should make reservations ahead of time.  You can book a table online (12 hours before dining) or call them directly.  This place will be great for a gathering with friends!!!

Here’s a picture of the inside!!  I have trouble deciding if I like this place, butchers club or beef and liberty more!!

  1. Hong Kong has some of the tastiest food I’ve seen. It’s too bad that I won’t be able to afford to travel that far any time soon. Thanks for sharing this food experience though 🙂
