WHERE HERBIVORES EAT

This one’s for my vegetarian friends!  Visited this vegetarian restaurant called Herbivore.  Although I am not the biggest fan of salads and non meat meals, this was still not too bad!  Located in Central, it is really easy to get to (just get off the MTR Central Station).  The restaurant is located in the SOHO area, which is just past Lan Kwai Fong

The main dish that I ordered was a Tomato Beet Dish.  Not exactly the biggest fan of beets, but I was craving some tomato sauce so I thought I give this dish a try.  It was pretty good!! The rice blended nicely with the beet juice and tomato sauce.  Here’s a picture of the dish:

We ordered onion rings while waiting for the rest of the party to arrive, as we were so hungry.  This was delicious! I haven’t had onion rings since February when I was in Toronto.  I can’t seem to find a good place that sells onion rings! So if you do know a place please let me know.

Finally desert.  Ordered ice cream, with some apple crumb along the side.  Good way to finish this meal off.

I would definitely bring my vegetarian friends here if they visited HK, as the food is pretty good and of course it is close to lan kwai fong, which is always a plus =p
