The Dubai Fountain starts every 6PM, and “performs” every 30 minutes. Was very impressive. Different song / movements every 30 minutes, one of the best fountain shows I have seen so far in my life.
The Dubai Mall Fountain is advertised as:
Delight the senses by experiencing one of The Dubai Fountain’s daily performances, a dance show of water reaching up to 140 metres high, accompanied by syncing lights and music.
Reading up on some history / facts on this fountain. Wow this is the largest choreographed fountain in the world.

There are also set songs they use every night, including Adele’s Skyfall. Pretty epic that one time I saw it, almost felt like James Bond was going to come down or something.
Come earlier and grab a good spot if you want to really enjoy the fountain. Or be a baller and dine at one of the restaurants with the fountain view. Either way works.
