My first ever LGBT parade, and it was in Sydney! Fabulous! This event is attended by thousands of people around Australia and the World. Now I am not going to get into the politics of this event. Instead I want to focus on how much fun and Fabulous! it was.
Now, the crowd was rowdy and loud which suited me perfectly fine. A lot of people also dressed up and having a good time. Isn’t that really what a good parade is all about? To be honest I wasn’t able to see a lot of the floats, because there were so many people in front of us. I guess you can tell by the crappy quality of my pictures. Fabulous!
The parade itself started at Victoria park, and went on and on and on. Where it ended I have no idea as I was at the beginning of the parade. We got there late so wasn’t able to get a good view, so if you really want to enjoy it as much as possible I recommend that you go a bit earlier to get a really good seat.
