We came to Chi Lin Nunnery on a Sunday because we failed in our hiking expedition.
We wanted to hike the lions rock but because Life Boss was super out of shape we decided to give up 30 minutes in. It was still a good walk and my heart definitely enjoyed the cardio. BUT the problem is…what the hell are we going to do for the rest of the day?
After reading other Hong Kong blogs Chi Lin Nunnery was a place I thought we should go visit. I can’t explain why I wanted to go.
The nunnery is located in Diamond Hill and was established in 1934.
That’s one old ass nunnery. The design is influenced by the Tang Dynasty. I have no idea what the designs during Tang Dynasty look like .Guess it looks cool…?
Yeah. It was a pretty cool walk throug the nunnery. There was a breeze too which we needed badly after our very short, failed hike.
Then we stepped out of the nunnery and into the park and I am like shit wow…I think I actually came here before.
Yes I remember this bright ass orange bridge. Visited this place about 4 years ago when I first moved to Hong Kong. I came here during night time. Pretty emo not sure why I did that.
Look at those clouddsss
