FIRST DAY IN ITALY – NO MORE RED EYES

BONJOURNO ITALY!

I hope I spelled this right. Our second time in Italy, though the first time didn’t really count because we only spent half a day in Verona. This time on our itinerary we were going to Rome and Positano. I have never been to both so am / was super excited. We unfortunately took the red eye though, so by the time we landed I was super tired. Am still tired on the day I am writing this.  No more red eyes going forward for me, too old.

We checked into our hotel and immediately went out to check out the streets of Rome. First order of business? We gotta get food. Dropped by this local bread and meat place that sold paninis. Sure why the fuck not. I got the spicy salmon with cheese with olives with sun dried tomatoes combination. Damn good. I also got the soft bread because I like my bread soft. Not a big fan of hard ass bread.

We then walked around some more (totaled 14K in steps), dropped by the Coliseum (didn’t go in), then sat down for gelato. I got the one scoop because we were about to have dinner. Life boss had 3 scoops. What the fuck. She is going crazy on gelato. lol.  Going to be a fun trip!
