Sai Kung is farrrrrrr……but well worth the trip if you are a big seafood fan. Wasn’t craving seafood but got dragged along anyways. Took the mini bus from Choi Hung all the way to Sai Kung, which was about a 30 minute ride. Once there we proceeded to a boat where they had live seafood…spent about 1000HKD on various fishes, shrimps and crabs. Things I can’t even name.
Once we got the fresh lobster, we went to a nearby restaurant where they would cook the food for you, to your liking and taste. I didn’t get to choose, so I just ate.
Delicious!
There is a reason why people prefer fresh seafood, fresh from the sea I guess. It’s more….juicy? haha I don’t really know.
We probably ordered too much food, we couldn’t finish it and I was super full. Bloated to be honest. I would go again, but I don’t know how to order the food (as in how the restaurant should prepare it). Think I would just settle for a seafood restaurant next time haha.
