Cao Lau is a noodle dish that is famous in Hoi An.
So one would think on our first day there, Choi would order this.
Well you are wrong.
Choi likes to be special. And Choi likes to cater to his cravings. And what does he constantly crave in Vietnam?
PHO OF COURSE!
This PHO that we got was at a restaurant called Pho Xua that is famous for Cao Lau noodles.
Man if you are famous for Cao Lau why do you have the word “PHO” in your name? Or does PHO have different meanings…..whoa…I never thought about that before….
I enjoyed my PHO here.
But I must admit. A bit of a regret that I didn’t try their famous Cao Lau dish. I feel like I should always prioritize the local famous dishes first before I satisfy my personal cravings.
It’s like I go to a famous dim sum restaurant in Hong Kong but end up buying a burger instead.
Just sounds kind of dumb.
BUT CRAVINGS are so hard to ignore….
Sometimes life is really hard.
Thank God I have life boss here.
She helps by ordering local famous food to offset my stupid cravings. And even though I don’t remember the names of these famous Hoi An dishes, take my word that this was damn good and you should try it.
Overall the food here was good.
But still, I need to ask you all. Do you prioritize your cravings first? Or eat the famous local dishes first?
If you say the latter, please tell me how you obtain the skills to ignore your cravings.
Choi absolutely sucks ass in this area.
Thanks!
