Life boss is great at finding kick ass restaurants.
I always get excited when she finds new restaurants to try because you know it’s going to be super kick ass and delicious.
So when she found this Poke Restaurant (i.e. raw fish plus rice dish) called Eskimo Candy I immediately jumped into the car like a little kid because I LOVE ME some raw fish with rice. Yes. I am Asian.
It’s also a famous dish in Hawaii so y’all gotta try it out.
I was so excited that I let life boss drive (not really she just took the car).
After a 15 minute drive from the beach we finally arrived.
Immediately loved this little no frills place. I don’t need no fancy shit yo!
We ordered the Poke dish which consists of some delicious fresh fish. I think Ahi is part of it. Ahi is a famous fish in Hawaii. Yes I had to google that to know haha.
This was DELICIOUS.
We also got the Fish and Chips + Shrimp.
Which was alright, wasn’t too impressed.
We also ordered Clam Chowder but we chowed it down before I could take a picture lol. So sorry.
That poke was so good. I wanted to back again…unfortunately we had limited time in Hawaii! Can’t spend all our time in one restaurant you know?
Or could we….need to ask Life Boss.
