Do you know where the world’s most beautiful train ride is?
It’s the train ride to Ella in Sri Lanka!
Okay.
So there are probably other train rides in the world that is also beautiful. But in Choi’s books this is the most beautiful train ride.
Why?
Because the only other train I have been on was to Guangzhou and if you ever been on that one, you know it’s shitty.
So yes. Pretty bad comparison I know.
What made the train ride beautiful?
This is a pretty dumb question.
Of course the scenery! Look at this shit!

Yes definitely one of the most beautiful train rides in the world.
You know what else was cool?
Instead of sitting our seats, we got to sit by the open train door!
Yes that’s right.
The train doors were all open for passengers to sit by.
It’s probably quite dangerous, but eh fuck it you are in Sri Lanka and you only live once.
Once in a life time experience.
Do note that there are a lot of people waiting to sit by this door. So either get there right away when the train starts, or you line up patiently which is what we did.
