BEST FINE DINING EXPERIENCE IN MONTREAL

I actually got full from a fine dining restaurant.

That seriously never happens. You pay 100 bucks only to find yourself at the local McDonald’s after. This was not the case at Garde Manger. I came late (as usual) and life boss + friends told me if we wanted to try the food tasting menu. Sure why the hell not. The waiter then came and asked if we wanted the deluxe version of it. Sure why the hell not. Waiter then asked if we wanted to try caviar. Why the hell not.

Okay! That’s a lot of why the hell nots. Now, was it worth it? YES! We got this kick ass seafood platter, 3 appetizers, 4 mains and 2 desserts. My god all the dishes were so good. My favorite was definitely the seafood platter, it was damn epic. Not only were they delicious, but the portions were also SUPER BIG. I never felt so full in my life eating fine dine meals. We also downed two bottles of white wine, which is party to blame for my big ass stomach afterwards.

We also tried the caviar, because we never had caviar before we realized. I personally don’t know what the big deal is with caviar. It’s just…salt? That shit set us back $140 (for 30mg). Not worth it, won’t get it again, but at least I can say I tried it. The final bill came to $900CAD, probably one of the most expensive meals I have had in my entire life. BUT IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!
