WELCOME TO OUR SHOPPING SCAMMING TOUR.
Why do I say such harsh things? Because we really did get scammed. This dumb Sunwing rep was selling us on this city tour, says it will be a great local experience.
Fuck you, this was a shopping tour.
Our first stop was at a stupid ass pearl store. What is the fucking significance of pearls in Mexico? Is it a prime export of the country? We did not buy shit naturally although our friend did win a free pearl. They ended up trying to sell her on getting a bracelet for the pearl though. At least we got free beers from them.
The next stop we went to the marina where we did more shopping. Sigh was so sick of it. Nothing really cool to write about. After spending 15 minutes there we finally had lunch. Lunch was quite good, probably highlight of the tour. Actually no I take that back. Because after lunch we went on a boat tour to see the famous “arch”. Wasn’t impressed about this arch but I was definitely impressed on how I survived the damn boat ride there. The water was so freaking rough, there was a couple times I thought we were going to be flipped over. Not a water person for sure.
We ended the tour with some tequila testing. Here’s a mind blowing fact: Tequila does not have to taste disgusting! We tried a couple of flavored tequila (I really liked the almond flavor). It was so good I bought a bottle myself. Note though, this is just some random store on the street that they brought us too. It wasn’t a tequila brewery.
So yes, lunch was good and the boat ride was cool and learned something new from the tequila store but everything else was a scam. Fuck you sunwing.

Sorry about your frustrating tour. At least the alcohol seemed okay. What did they have to say about the pearls?
